It is natural for those working with people who are seriously ill to experience a variety of emotions related to the work—sadness, frustration, grief, guilt, isolation, and more. The strain brought on by the COVID-19 pandemic is accentuating this, with health care workers facing unprecedented emotional demands. Many wish for an opportunity to safely talk about the difficult nature of their work, to be heard and understood.

CAPC’s Wellness Debriefings are small, informal, facilitated discussions that offer an opportunity to exchange thoughts and feelings about work issues that affect emotional health. These evidence-based debriefings are led by a trained peer facilitator, and they provide a confidential space where you can share common reactions to your demanding work and learn coping strategies that diminish the consequences of stress. Invest in your wellbeing by joining a Wellness Debriefing session.
