In this discussion, Kelley outlines the challenges and successes that her program has faced thus far, including staff training, communication with referring physicians, and maintaining institutional support. She also shares the process of a team becoming Joint Commission Certified in palliative care.

"We want to catch people earlier in the disease trajectory and be able to focus more on quality of life."
