Pain Management: Relieving Suffering and Reducing Risk Courses

Pain is one of the most common and distressing symptoms for patients living with a serious illness, significantly impacting quality of life. Take CAPC’s 10 new Pain Management courses to learn how to:

  • Perform a comprehensive pain assessment
  • Create an effective pain treatment plan
  • Recommend both non-pharmacologic and pharmacologic treatments
  • Assess risk for substance use disorder
  • Safely monitor and prescribe opioids

CAPC members, take these courses and earn continuing education credits (for physicians, nurses, social workers, and care managers). Free ABIM Maintenance of Certification (MOC) credits are also available for physicians.
