
Stephanie Terauchi, MD, FAAHPM
Dr. Stephanie Terauchi attended the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. She completed her medical training, in Internal Medicine, at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas, TX, before completing her second board certification in Palliative Medicine. Dr. Terauchi transitioned to UT Southwestern Medical Center in December 2015 as the Medical Director of Palliative Care and expanded services to include a robust multidisciplinary hospital consultation service, primary admission service and ambulatory clinics. Dr. Terauchi brings a strong background of integrating palliative medicine into multiple healthcare settings including the ED, ICU, and oncology clinics, in order to improve the quality of life and transitions of care for the seriously ill. Outside of work, Dr. Terauchi enjoys travel, playing the piano and time with friends and family.
