Launch of the Communication Skills Pathfinder

April 19, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. ET

About the event

Geared to all clinicians who treat serious illness, the new Communication Skills Pathfinder portal will be the ultimate gateway to the training and tools that reliably improve the quality of communication with seriously ill patients. Few areas of health care are as important as communication, and the evidence is clear. Communication skills can be taught and retained, and these skills result in measurably better quality of care, reduced readmissions and more. This briefing brings together the principals of the three organizations behind this unique collaboration--Ariadne Labs, the Center to Advance Palliative Care, and VitalTalk. Let them guide you through the easy-access pathways available to clinicians who want to:

•Improve individual communication skills
•Become a trainer and educator
•Implement an organization-wide strategy

Who Should Attend:
All clinicians and organizational leaders responsible for treating seriously ill patients.
