Relationships matter. It is no secret that it is through positive and effective relationships you can develop yourself (through mentorship), grow programs (through strategic relationships with administration), and build strong teams (through rapport with a team). How do you identify the relationships that matter? How do you disentangle yourself from or redefine ineffective relationships? How do you develop relationships that help you be the best leader you can be?

In this panel-based webinar, moderated by Dr. Diane Meier, Director Emerita for the Center to Advance Palliative Care, attendees will hear how three interprofessional leaders have leveraged relationships to develop themselves as leaders. Panelists will share their personal experiences, perspectives, and practical lessons to:

  • Identify relationships that can catalyze you into being an effective leader
  • Approach and nurture high-impact relationships
  • Understand and prioritize the types of relationships that will improve your effectiveness as a leader

By developing sustainable relationships, leaders can shape a vision for themselves and, over time, discover new leadership opportunities that change their career trajectory or broaden their leadership spheres of influence.
