Program Spotlight: Embracing Change and Innovation in Palliative Care
In this Program Spotlight, Dr. Carl Robert Grey of Wake Forest Baptist Health in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, joined us just weeks after starting a new position as Geriatric Medicine Specialist and Co-Director of the Palliative Care Program. Beyond sharing what he is most excited about, Dr. Grey outlined the challenges and opportunities that he faces joining an existing program, embracing new ideas and innovations, leadership, team culture, and work/life balance. Finally, Dr. Grey discusses the importance of mentorship, no matter where you are in your career.
