Recognizing the tremendous need for the delivery of high-quality palliative care in the community, CAPC has expanded Palliative Care Leadership Centers to the community setting. Three new locations were launched in early 2017 to focus on training teams to design, establish, and sustain palliative care programs in home and/or office/clinic settings. The new locations join existing PCLCs that have demonstrated impactful training for hospital settings, some of whom will also be offering community-focused training.

The addition of these new PCLCs recognizes the diversity of both care settings and patient populations. These new sites will address the challenges and considerations unique to teams providing palliative care “in the field.” PCLCs are located across the United States and represent diverse provider types. Teams have the choice to train at the PCLC that best meets their needs and aligns with their organizational profile. For more information and to enroll, click here.
