CAPC is constantly creating new products—and updating existing ones—to ensure you have the best tools and technical assistance to do your job. Here's an update about what we've done in September 2026.
New Resources
CAPC Learning Pathway: Aging Services Care Managers
This new learning pathway introduces aging services care managers to the principles of palliative care, with a focus on screening, assessment, symptom awareness and the support of older adults and their families living with serious illness.
Coming Soon
Prepare Your Data: The Palliative Care Program Inventory Is Coming
This fall, CAPC will launch the Palliative Care Program Inventory, an ongoing national initiative to build the field’s understanding of where and how specialty palliative care programs are operating in both hospital and community settings, and where gaps in access remain.
The Program Inventory data set will close an information gap in the field. It will help create a more complete picture of palliative care services nationwide, support research and advocacy efforts, and advance understanding of how palliative care is delivered across care settings.
Participation in the Program Inventory is free and open to all specialty palliative care programs in the U.S. You do not need to be a CAPC member to enter your program data or to receive Inventory reports.
To make participation as easy as possible, we're sharing the inventory questions in advance so your team can begin gathering the information you'll need before the official launch.
Open Position
CAPC is seeking a Project Manager, Clinical Education to join the team responsible for developing online clinical education and technical assistance for clinicians nationwide. This role will help create resources that support palliative care teams and clinicians incorporating palliative care principles into their practice.
