LaShonte’ Thomas, FNP, ACHPN

LaShonte’ Thomas-Shaw is a family nurse practitioner who has worked in hospice and palliative medicine for over 15 years. She completed her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at the University of Florida and then earned her Master of Science degree at Florida Atlantic University. She holds two national board certifications, one from the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) and a certification as an Advance Certified Hospice and Palliative Nurse (ACHPN). In 2019, she became the lead advanced practice provider (APP) for Wellstar Palliative Medicine, supporting inpatient and outpatient APPs. LaShonte’ is passionate about ensuring patients and families receive quality care and education at the end of life.
