Elizabeth Jurczak

Elizabeth Jurczak, MSW

As Education Project Manager, Elizabeth (Liz) Jurczak provides project management and coordination to support ongoing Education Department priorities through collaboration with internal content experts and external field leaders with the goal of providing high-quality palliative care program design in provider organizations nationwide.

Liz has worked in the health care field for over 10 years as a medical social worker, a project manager, and a researcher. Prior to rejoining CAPC, Liz was a clinical research counselor at the Yale School of Medicine. Currently, Jurczak is an adjunct professor and a PhD student at the University of Connecticut School of Social Work. Her research interests are informed by her professional experiences and are guided by the principles of social justice and advancement of health equity. Interests include interprofessional collaboration, tobacco and substance use treatment, palliative care, and social work practice.

Jurczak earned a BA and MSW from Rutgers University and is a licensed social worker in New York and New Jersey. She is a first-generation college student and a 1.5 generation immigrant.
