One of Central Oregon's premiere employers is seeking an experienced Palliative Care Social Worker to join our team in Central Oregon.

in a 10,000 square mile region.

The Palliative Care Social Worker provides emotional and psychosocial support to patients with serious illness and their families as part of the palliative care consult team. The social worker, as a member of the multi-disciplinary palliative care team, collaborates with the Palliative Care team members. Social work support will be provided in a variety of settings including homes, clinics, and nursing facilities.

Educational requirements include graduate of a Masters program in social work accredited by the Council on Social Work Education, Oregon licensed clinical social work (LCSW) preferred. Ideal candidates will possess 2 years of clinical experience in palliative care. Valid Oregon drivers license and/or reliable transportation with current auto insurance as applicable.

Full time position (32-40 hours week) - normal shifts are Monday through Friday 8am – 5pm. You may be called upon to flex your hours (up or down) to meet the needs of the business. Additionally, you may be required to assist in providing on-call coverage when necessary, and as assigned by the Supervisor.
