Description
Provide palliative care consults in conjunction with an interdisciplinary team including nursing and social work across multiple care settings (outpatient clinic, community home visits, inpatient hospice, and hospital) on beautiful Vancouver Island, BC; in Port Alberni, Cowichan Valley and Victoria.
Must have driver's license and access to car.
For immigration purposes, it will be necessary to work at least 0.8 of a full time equivalent job (1344hrs/yr).
Port Alberni is a small community of ~20,000 people in the centre of the island and at the head of Alberni Inlet, en route to the surfing capital of Canada - Tofino.
Duncan and the Cowichan Valley has a population of 90,000, with a big slow food culture fed by regional farms and vineyards.
Victoria is the capital city of BC, with the most temperate weather in Canada.
