Description
Seeking a board-certified/board-eligible Palliative Care Physician to join the Division of Palliative Medicine. This is an opportunity to work with a diverse patient population in a nationally recognized cancer center, MD Anderson Cancer Center@Cooper and a Level One Academic Trauma Center, Cooper University Hospital, providing comprehensive care to individuals with serious, complex and sometimes life limiting illness. Our specialty trained interdisciplinary team works with patients to manage symptoms and address psychosocial, emotional and/or spiritual distress to improve quality of life for the patient and family. We work to ensure that care aligns with patients’ goals, values and priorities in the face of serious illness.
There is opportunity for an individual who wants to be part of a vibrant ambulatory and inpatient practice and has a passion for medical education and health-system innovation. Cooper Norcross Health is located in Camden, NJ, centered in the Philadelphia-Southern New Jersey community.
