Description
-Provide direct patient care, consultative guidance and education to patients, families, caregivers, and healthcare providers in the most challenging end-of-life circumstances for inpatients and outpatient who have a terminal illness or injury.
-Perform a wide range of medical duties covering consultation for the ICU, Internal Medicine, general and subspecialty surgical services.
-Examine patients, recommends and evaluates the full range of radiology and laboratory tests, make diagnosis
-Prescribe appropriate treatments to include intra-thecal, oral, topical, rectal and intravenous medications as well as nursing care, and therapeutic dietary interventions
-Refer to appropriate specialty consultant only when required for evaluation and/or treatment.
