Description

Fox Chase Cancer Center, a member of the Temple University Health System and an NCI-designated Comprehensive Cancer Center, is recruiting a full-time Supportive Oncology and Palliative Care faculty position to join the faculty. This is an extraordinary opportunity to contribute to the growth of the Department of Hematology Oncology Bone Marrow Transplant and Cellular Therapeutics. Fox Chase Cancer Center combines broad clinical expertise with advanced basic and clinical research in a multidisciplinary approach to cancer care. 

The preferred applicant will: provide inpatient and outpatient consultation services in collaboration with the palliative care interdisciplinary team provide expert assessment and treatment of complex
symptoms associated with cancer and its treatments, facilitate and coordinate care across the cancer continuum of care, including transitions to hospice care, communicate and collaborate with referring hematology and oncology providers regarding plan of care and participate in interdisciplinary palliative care team meetings.

Candidates should have an MD, DO, or MD/PhD and be Board Certified/Eligible in Hospice and Palliative Medicine; Board Certification/Eligibility in Hematology or Oncology or prior experience working at a cancer center is desirable but not necessary.
