As one of North Carolina's most respected nonprofit hospice and palliative care organizations, Carolina Caring is seeking a compassionate Family Medicine or Med-Peds physician to join its award-winning interdisciplinary team. This role offers the opportunity to build meaningful relationships with patients and families while providing expert, patient-centered care during some of life's most important moments.
Position Highlights
Unique blended role supporting both Adult Hospice and Cardinal Kids Pediatric Palliative Care
Collaborate with an experienced interdisciplinary team of physicians, advanced practice providers, nurses, social workers, chaplains, pharmacists, and other dedicated professionals
Practice medicine in a mission-driven organization recognized for clinical excellence and compassionate care

Qualifications
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine/Pediatrics (Med-Peds)
Eligible for unrestricted North Carolina medical licensure
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
Passion for caring for patients with serious illness and supporting families through every stage of their journey
Previous hospice or palliative medicine experience is welcomed but not required. Physicians with a sincere interest in this rewarding field are encouraged to apply.
