Description
The University of Virginia School of Medicine seeks a board-certified or board-eligible palliative medicine physician for a full-time, open-rank faculty position in Charlottesville, Virginia. The successful candidate will join a growing interdisciplinary program providing compassionate, evidence-based care for adults with serious illness across inpatient and outpatient settings. Responsibilities include complex symptom management, serious-illness communication, advance care planning, teaching, and participation in program development, quality improvement, and scholarship. Candidates must have completed an ACGME-accredited Hospice and Palliative Medicine fellowship and be eligible for Virginia medical licensure. Rank, track, and compensation will be commensurate with qualifications. Protected effort may be considered for candidates with active research funding or substantial educational leadership.
