Dayton Children’s Hospital, located in Dayton, Ohio, is seeking a dedicated and compassionate pediatric palliative care specialist to join our expanding palliative care team. This full-time position offers the opportunity to be an integral part of our interdisciplinary team, providing exceptional care and support to pediatric patients and their families. Leadership opportunities may exist. We welcome applications from BC/BE pediatric palliative care boarded physicians, as well as CAPC certified physicians with relevant experience. Employment is through Dayton Children’s Specialty Physicians and includes a comprehensive and highly competitive compensation and benefit package. The successful candidate must hold or obtain an unrestricted Ohio medical license.

Position details include:
• Dedicated Pediatric Nurse Practitioner with experience in pediatric palliative care
• Consultative inpatient and ambulatory care
• Home Care based program for patients nearing end-of-life
• Dedicated social work support
• Multi-disciplinary support from chaplain services, child life, and psychology
• Supportive and nurturing environment with staff and other subspecialties

The Wright State University Boonshoft School of Medicine Department of Pediatrics and its residency program are based at Dayton Children’s. All of our physicians hold faculty appointments at the Boonshoft School of Medicine, with opportunity to teach medical students, residents, and fellows.
