Acclaim Multispecialty Group, a partner with JPS Health Network is seeking a motivated and ambitious Full Time Palliative Care Physician to join our dynamic Palliative Care team. As the county hospital system, JPS has been serving the residents of Tarrant County for over 100 years. This is a wonderful opportunity for innovative and passionate individuals to treat complex medical issues to those patients that need it most.
In addition to the nourishing and rewarding clinical atmosphere, JPS is also an urban teaching hospital with a long history of training physicians and medical students. JPS offers 18 residency and fellowship programs.

Job Summary:
Outpatient Clinic
5/8 hour shifts (M-F)
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Plan, implement, manage, administer, and direct the work of the program
Effectively role model quality patient-centered, continuous and comprehensive, health care
Provide effective leadership and work cooperatively with other staff members while assisting in supervision of residents/fellows and ancillary personnel
Prepare clear and comprehensive case histories, records, and reports
Establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with patients, members of patients’ families, medical associates, administrative staff, and sponsoring organizations
Assist in the training of resident/fellow physicians and students as well as provide consultative assistance to faculty
Model effective self-directed learning and continuing education
Utilize current computer and information technology

Qualifications:
Required Education and Experience:
Current Medical Doctor (M.D) or Doctor of Osteopathy (D.O.) degree from an accredited school of medicine
Experience in academic program/fellows teaching preferred
Required Licensure/Certification/Specialized Training:
Current, unrestricted medical license to practice in the State of Texas
Board Certification or Board Eligible
Unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States
