Description

We are currently seeking a fellowship trained BC/BE Palliative Care physician at Kaiser Permanente South Sacramento. Our department includes a transdisciplinary team of physicians, nurses, social workers and chaplains covering both inpatient and outpatient palliative care. Kaiser Permanente South Sacramento is a Level 2 Trauma Center, which serves a highly diverse patient population and provides a wide range of specialty services including critical care, oncology, cardiovascular, and stroke care.

This opportunity is a full-time position, covering a mix of both inpatient and outpatient settings. Coverage is mainly Monday through Friday, 8:00 am-5:00 pm with some weekends. There is also an optional opportunity to pick up extra shifts on nights and weekends while working from home to cover the regional after hours palliative care call center if interested, but this is not required. This shareholder track position offers a very competitive compensation and benefits package.
