The Palliative Care Program at UC San Diego Health in conjunction with the Department of Psychiatry is currently seeking a psychiatrist to join UC San Diego’s Palliative Care Program who is experienced in the psychiatric treatment of individuals with serious, advanced, and often life-limiting disease.
Applicants must be licensed in California with an M.D. or D.O. The applicant must have experience in the assessment and treatment of psychiatric symptoms and disorders in patients with serious medical illness and as well as in consultation-liaison psychiatry and palliative care.

Candidates may also submit a statement of interest in or evidence of clinical experience in palliative care, palliative care psychiatry, and consultation-liaison psychiatry. Salary is commensurate with qualifications and based on University of California pay scales. The appropriate series and appointment at the Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor level will be based on the candidate’s qualifications and experience.
