Position Summary:
Responsible for leadership and management of the
overall organizational Quality Assurance and Performance
Improvement program. Compliance with
industry regulations, standards of practice and protected health
information; Safety Management and Emergency
Preparedness; and the Education related to these areas to
promote and maintain the highest level of organizational

Skill & Knowledge Requirements:
o Demonstrates excellent observation, verbal and written
communication skills.
o Ability to read and comprehend data in order to make
improvements as well as compiling information to report to
management team and/or to Board of Directors.
o Understands HIPAA, OSHA, local State and Federal regulations
as it applies to hospice industry.
o Excellent problem solving skills.
o Ability to work with a diverse team.
o Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
o Ability to navigate electronic medical record data base
o Time management
o Advanced and efficient use of technology.

Education & Experience Requirements:
o Minimum of BSN degree.
o RN license in the State of Hawaii.
o Minimum of two (2) years management experience in
healthcare industry with focus on project management and
implementing/monitoring quality improvement plans.
o Hospice experienced preferred.
o Valid drivers license.
