The Palliative Medicine Practice of Maine Medical Partners is seeking a Palliative Medicine physician. Candidates must be BC/BE in Hospice and Palliative Medicine. The position will include an administrative role as Associate Hospice Medical Director, acute care consultations and ambulatory services.
The Palliative Medicine Team at Maine Medical Center is comprised of physicians, advanced practice professionals, social workers and chaplains with Program Manager support and Division leadership. Services are provided in the inpatient setting at Maine Medical Center and in the outpatient Palliative Care Clinic. The practice also provides administrative and clinical services in partnership with a local hospice.
Maine Medical Center’s Palliative Medicine Fellowship Program, to date in its 4th year, provides Hospice and Palliative Medicine training opportunities in collaboration with the VA system across the continuum of care settings.
