Overview

Through partnerships with survivors, parents, and community-based staff, this initiative identified the ongoing challenges families face long after childhood cancer treatment ends, including barriers related to language, rural location, healthcare navigation, and socioeconomic hardship. Findings underscore that childhood cancer affects the entire family and that culturally responsive, community-based support can help address unmet needs, improve access to resources, and reduce disparities in survivorship care for underserved communities.
