  • Monday, June 1 4 p.m. - 5 p.m. ET

Palliative care teams across all settings face high demand that often exceeds their capacity and available resources. In this monthly virtual office hour, adapted from a CAPC National Seminar 2025 workshop and a follow-up webinar, participants are invited to engage in a small-group, interactive discussion focused on the leadership practices needed to sustain high-quality care while operating within resource constraints.

This monthly session provides a dedicated space to ask questions, share challenges, and explore practical approaches for managing demand, navigating service design tradeoffs, and aligning day-to-day operational decisions with long-term growth strategies for palliative care teams.

Questions from previous sessions include:

  1. How can palliative care leaders assess and respond to rising demand without compromising quality of care?
  2. What service design tradeoffs are most important to consider when resources are limited?
  3. How can teams balance short-term operational pressures with long-term program growth and sustainability?
  4. What leadership strategies help teams adapt workflows and staffing models as demand increases?
  5. Bring your real-world scenarios and leadership questions for peer learning and expert guidance in an informal, supportive setting.
