Amy Berman, RN, LHD, FAAN, Senior Program Officer at The John A. Hartford Foundation (JAHF) has been awarded The Hospice and Palliative Nurses Association (HPNA) 2023 Champion Award. The HPNA Champion Award recognizes an individual who has made a significant impact on hospice and palliative care through advocacy, community involvement, or practice.

Ms. Berman works on JAHF’s development and dissemination of innovative, cost-effective models of care that improve health outcomes for older adults. She also leads many of the Foundation’s efforts focused on serious Illness and end-of-life care, including efforts to support palliative care.
