Patient-Reported Quality Measures for Palliative Care: The Time is Now
Patient-reported quality measures for palliative care were developed through cognitive interviews approved by the National Quality Forum, using a patient-centered, patient-engaged approach during the testing process. The results were published in the Journal of Pain and Symptom Management, helping to meet the need for more patient involvement in developing quality metrics.
