Palliative Care in FY24 NIH Congressional Justification

Congressional justification language from the National Institutes of Health reiterates commitment to palliative care research.

Last week, the National Institutes of Health (NIH) released its FY24 Congressional Justification language that highlights the need for NIH to develop and implement a trans-Institute strategy to expand and intensify national research programs in palliative care. CAPC will be working with partners in the Patient Quality of Life Coalition and the National Coalition for Hospice and Palliative Care to facilitate and promote the development of this plan.
