Palliative Care for Hospitalized Patients Undergoing Hematopoietic Stem Cell Transplantation

Researchers conducted a multi-site randomized clinical trial and found that people who received palliative care experienced substantially greater quality of life, improved psychological symptoms (e.g., depression, PTSD), fatigue, and symptom burden.
