HHS/NIH Request for Innovative Approaches to the COVID-19 Pandemic

The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) recently published a Request for Information (RFI) entitled “Effective and Innovative Approaches/Best Practices in Health Care in Response to the COVID-19 Pandemic.” This is a unique opportunity for palliative care programs to share what you have done to improve quality of life and quality of care for patients and families during COVID-19. HHS is specifically seeking information from programs that have data to support their effectiveness. Leaders will use this information to learn more about what worked well during the pandemic, including what policy changes are needed to improve care now and in the future.
