Diane Meier, professor of geriatrics and palliative medicine at Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, was awarded the National Academy of Medicine’s Gustav O. Lienhard Award for Advancement of Health Care on October 16. This award is funded by an endowment from the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation (RWJF), according to a press release.
