New and Updated Resources
Join the Host Committee for the 2027 CAPC National Seminar
Ohio-based palliative care professionals, CAPC needs you! We are looking for 10 volunteers representing the full interprofessional palliative care team (physicians, nurses, social workers, chaplains, administrators, and other team members) to join the host committee for the 2027 CAPC National Seminar and help create an exceptional experience for attendees from across the country. Space on the committee is limited; applications close July 31.
Faculty Spotlight: Catrece Studdard, MBA
Our latest CAPC Faculty Spotlight features Catrece Studdard, Director of Practice Operations at Presbyterian Healthcare Services. Learn what inspired her to pursue a career in palliative care, how she spends her time outside of work, and more.
From Distress to Action: Addressing Moral Distress in Palliative Care
CAPC is offering new virtual clinical workshops on moral distress within the palliative care team through the interprofessional perspectives of the physician, registered nurse, and social worker. Participants will examine common sources of moral distress, including aggressive treatment at the end of life, ineffective communication, resource limitations, and tensions between patient wishes and organizational constraints.
These workshops offer continuing education credits for physicians, physician assistants, and social workers. CAPC is working closely with our educational partners to offer continuing education credits for nurses and case managers.
