New Workshop: Prescribing Ketamine for Symptom Management in Patients with Serious Illness
CAPC is offering new virtual clinical workshops focused on the use of ketamine for patients living with serious illness, particularly those experiencing refractory pain and treatment-resistant depression. Taught by expert faculty, these case-based, two-hour interactive sessions equip clinicians with practical knowledge on the safe and effective use of ketamine, including real-world applications and clinical decision-making strategies.
CAPC membership is NOT required, but members receive discounted registration.

2025 Award Recipients Announced
This year at the CAPC National Seminar, we will two honor individuals whose work exemplifies excellence, leadership, and innovation in the field of palliative care.
- The 2025 CAPC Innovation Award will be presented to Blyth Lord, EdM, Founder and Executive Director of Courageous Parents Network.
- The inaugural James Block Award for Ethical Leadership in Health Care will be presented to Mark Kantrow, MD, FAAHPM, System Medical Director for Palliative Care at the Franciscan Missionaries of Our Lady Health System.
