NASEM Releases 'The Future of Nursing 2020-2030' with Focus on Health Equity
This month, the National Academy of Science, Engineering, and Medicine (NASEM) released The Future of Nursing 2020-2030: Charting a Path to Achieving Health Equity, as well as actionable recommendations. The committee, composed of physicians, nurses, lawyers, insurers, and administrators, explored how nurses can work to reduce health disparities and promote equity, while keeping costs at bay, utilizing technology, and maintaining patient and family-focused care into 2030.
