Medicare Provides Additional Telehealth Flexibility
Additional waivers were released on Monday, 3/30, which provide significantly more flexibility for clinicians to deliver care remotely. Included in the new batch of waivers are new codes, such as emergency department visits, critical care services, home visits, licensed clinical social work visits, and many more. In addition, telephonic assessments and evaluation and management codes are now billable to Medicare.
