Large Palliative Care Study Receives Funding
Researchers at the Palliative and Advanced Illness Research (PAIR) Center in the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania have received funding for a study aimed at improving the efficacy and reach of palliative care in the hospital setting. In order to meet the needs of the aging baby boomer population, the researchers hope to determine how to effectively and equitable scale and deliver palliative care. CAPC is honored to be the education partner in this important research, which will support strategic health system investment in palliative care capacity.
