Integrating Palliative Care in Kidney Cancer
A recent article in Targeted Oncology states that palliative care integration should be a key goal of treating metastatic kidney cancer, as presented at the 2021 International kidney Cancer Symposium: North America. Per the article, there is evidence that suggests that its integration into routine oncologic care can improve quality of life for the patient, improve mood, and more—but more research is needed.
