Education About Specialty Palliative Care Among Nonhealthcare Workers: A Systematic Review
An article published in the Journal of Pain and Symptom Management reviews evidence on the effectiveness of interventions to educate and influence attitudes about palliative care (among the public). The authors found that raising awareness, increasing knowledge, and improving attitudes about palliative care can help the public accept palliative care if/when they need it, and also improve access to these services.
