CMMI Announces New Payment Model
The Center for Medicare and Medicaid Innovation (CMMI) has introduced a major new payment model, the Direct Contracting Model, encouraging health care organizations be accountable for the cost and quality of Medicare populations. These models have important implications for palliative care programs and applications are due February 25, 2020.
