CAPC Releases 2019 State-by-State Report Card on Access to Palliative Care

Report Card released on Capitol Hill and now available to the public.

On Thursday, September 26th, CAPC and the National Palliative Care Research Center released the 2019 State-by-State Report Card on Access to Palliative Care in Our Nation's Hospitals on Capitol Hill. The report demonstrates that despite continued growth in hospital palliative care teams, access to palliative care remains highly variable.

The Report Card website lists key findings as a country and by state, provides actions that federal and state policymakers can take, and includes recommendations for purchasers, health plans, and ACOs.
