CAPC Receives Presidential Citation Award from AAHPM
In November 2020, the Center to Advance Palliative Care (CAPC) received a Presidential Citation award from the American Academy of Hospice and Palliative Medicine (AAHPM). CAPC is recognized for its work over the past two decades to lead the growth in high-quality palliative care programs, and the standardization of best practices. Most notable to AAHPM is CAPC's just-in-time resources, including toolkits and clinical training, to address the challenges of caring for people living with COVID-19. CAPC's accomplishment will be celebrated during the virtual Annual Assembly of Hospice and Palliative Care, February 16-19, 2021.
