Prepares pediatricians with the skills necessary to have conversations with parents and families about serious illness.

The Center to Advance Palliative Care (CAPC) was privileged to participate in the development of the new Talking About Serious Illness course with the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) and Courageous Parents Network (CPN)*. This course, which is available through EQIPP on the AAP website, will help facilitate open and honest conversations with parents or other family members, when a child is living with a serious illness.
