Anne Monroe, MHA

Anne Monroe is the palliative practice consultant for Bluegrass Care Navigators. Ms. Monroe was executive director of palliative care and manager of physician practice at Bluegrass Care Navigators for more than 18 years. She is experienced in program planning, budgeting, system and data analysis, regulatory compliance, operations, and other physician practice management tasks for palliative physician practices. She has presented numerous times at National Hospice and Palliative Care Organization (NHPCO) and Center to Advance Palliative Care (CAPC) national conferences, as well as at regional conferences. Ms. Monroe is currently on the faculty of the CAPC Virtual Office Hours, addressing these topics: Community-Based Palliative Care Billing and Coding and Hospices Providing Community-Based Palliative Care. She received the Distinguished Leader Award in 2016 from the Kentucky Association of Hospice and Palliative Care. Ms. Monroe earned her master’s degree in health administration from the University of Kentucky.
