Dr. Lipner provides strategic and clinical leadership to Transitions LifeCare’s medical staff and leads the organization’s Serious Illness Services program. She is especially passionate about ensuring patients and families receive interdisciplinary care earlier in the course of serious illness, advancing upstream palliative care in alignment with Transitions LifeCare’s mission of person‑centered, comprehensive support.
She earned her medical degree from the Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine, completed her Internal Medicine residency at Lehigh Valley Health Network, and her Hospice and Palliative Medicine fellowship at the UNC. Her work focuses on direct patient care, strengthening communication skills across the healthcare workforce, and expanding access to high‑quality care by fostering strategic partnerships and innovative care models across healthcare systems, community organizations, and payer groups.
