Beyond the Code: Navigating the Chaos of Resuscitation
Fr. Bobby holds a Masters in Divinity from St. Vladimir’s Orthodox Theological Seminary, and was ordained as a ‘Priest’ of the Indian Orthodox Church in 2019. This same year, he pursued a Fellowship in Palliative Care upon completion of his Chaplain Internship and Residency with the Veteran Affairs Hospital in Brooklyn, New York.
Following the Fellowship, Fr. Bobby obtained his Board Certification through National Association of Veteran Affairs Chaplains (NAVAC), and then was immediately hired as the Palliative Care Chaplain at Bellevue Hospital in New York City. There he spent four years catering to the spiritual and emotional needs of patients, their families, and staff before moving to Robert Wood Johnson Hospital in New Brunswick. Since moving, Fr. Bobby became board certified through the Association of Professional Chaplains (APC), and currently serves as the Staff Chaplain for the Jack and Sheryl Morris Cancer Center. In addition, he is also the spiritual care liaison for the Palliative Care Team, and serves on both the Cancer Committee, as well as the Schwartz Rounds Committee.
