The Supportive Oncology Fellowship at Atrium Health Levine Cancer offers advanced, physician-focused training designed to prepare future leaders in whole-person cancer care. Housed within a nationally and internationally recognized Department of Supportive Oncology, this one-year fellowship provides comprehensive, multidisciplinary training across the cancer continuum.
The fellowship emphasizes person-centered cancer care, including management of treatment-related symptoms and toxicities, functional impairment, nutrition, psychological health, survivorship, and quality of life from diagnosis through end of life. Fellows train across multiple supportive oncology disciplines and function as attending physicians in outpatient oncology palliative medicine within a large academic cancer center.
Ideal candidates are physicians with prior Hospice and Palliative Medicine training or equivalent experience who are seeking advanced preparation for academic, leadership, or program-development careers in supportive oncology, oncology palliative care, or survivorship.
