St. Luke’s Cancer Institute is seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Palliative Care Physician to join our nationally recognized oncology team. This position plays a vital role in advancing our mission to provide compassionate, patient-centered care for individuals with serious and complex illnesses. The physician will work within a collaborative, interdisciplinary team that includes oncologists, advanced practice providers, pharmacists, nurses, social workers, chaplains, and other dedicated specialists.

What to Expect:
4-day work week with 32 patient contact hours, Epic EMR + AI Scribe
No call
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans and provide expert palliative care consultation for oncology patients in the outpatient setting
Support patients and families in navigating complex medical decisions, symptom management, and goals of care
Educate staff, patients, and families on palliative care principles and best practices
Participate in program development, quality improvement initiatives, and educational efforts
Qualifications:
MD or DO from an accredited medical school
Board-certified or board-eligible
Preferred: BC/BE in Palliative Medicine
Eligible for medical licensure in Idaho
Commitment to compassionate, patient-centered care
Preferred: Experience in palliative oncology care
