The Opportunity
The Division of Palliative Care and Geriatric Medicine at Lahey Hospital & Medical Center is seeking a board certified/eligible Palliative Medicine Physician to join our interdisciplinary team.
This role is key to our clinical, educational, and quality improvement missions.

What You Will Do
• Provide inpatient and outpatient consultation services within Lahey’s academic medical center.
• Collaborate with our interdisciplinary team.
• Commit to promoting quality care transitions.

Program & Educational Focus
• LHMC is affiliated with the University of Massachusetts Chan Medical School.
• Our division hosts an ACGME-accredited Hospice and Palliative Medicine Fellowship.
• Professional Development: We support candidates' interests with available clinical, educational, and academic opportunities.
• Preferred: Interest and experience in medical education and program development.
• Academic Appointment: Opportunity for an academic appointment with the University of Massachusetts Chan School of Medicine (commensurate with achievement).

Qualifications & Requirements
Candidates must meet the following:
• Completed Hospice and Palliative Medicine Fellowship training by hire date, or demonstrate comparable experience.
• Board certified/eligible in Palliative Medicine.
• Demonstrate passion for clinical palliative care.
