The Dana-Farber Cancer Institute (DFCI) Department of Supportive Oncology and Brigham & Women’s Hospital (BWH) Division of Palliative Medicine seek a full-time Adult Palliative Medicine physician to join our interprofessional team. This position offers an exciting career opportunity within a vibrant clinical and academic environment, where faculty can focus on clinical innovation, education, or research.
To succeed in this role, you will have a faculty appointment at the Instructor or Assistant Professor level at Harvard Medical School (HMS) and clinical privileges at both DFCI and BWH. To be considered, you must be board certified/eligible in Hospice and Palliative Medicine. Palliative Medicine Fellowship training is strongly preferred.

Ready to join us? Here’s what you’ll do
• Work closely with our interprofessional teams of nurses, physician assistants, social workers, pharmacists, and psychosocial oncology colleagues to provide state-of-the-art palliative care to seriously ill patients within both our outpatient and inpatient clinical services, with a focus on outpatient practice.
• Participate in extensive formal and informal teaching activities at BWH, DFCI, and the HMS Center for Palliative Care. Trainees include fellows in palliative care, pain/anesthesia, psychiatry, geriatrics, and gynecologic and surgical oncology; residents; physician assistants; medical students; and other clinicians rotating on the Palliative Care Service.
